How do you like your Pedal Commander so far?

 

Weight placed behind the rear axle has a similar effect as when towing a trailer. With a trailer you are placing weight behind the rear axle via the hitch. The more weight you place on the hitch (tongue weight), the more the weight of the vehicle shifts from all wheels to the rear wheels which begins to lift the weight from the front and reduces front tire traction. Thus why heavier trailers require either load equalizers or fifth wheel hitches (fifth wheel hitches place the tongue weight directly over the rear axle).

 

Good choice. I had a 2002. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I wish Toyota would bring that body style back as the new T100!

Your spacers didn’t have studs with included nuts? I have 1.25 and had no issues- spider (something) has studs and nuts. I wouldn’t ever put on an actual Spacer that uses the stock studs

 

The spacers I bough came with mounting nuts. The issue was the OEM lock nuts were not deep enough to accommodate the studs that were on the spacers. I ended up splitting them so I had to purchase new lock nuts.

So the studs we’re basically to long? Glad I didn’t have that issue but when I was researching the best 2 brands were borla and spidertrac (I think that’s the name)

Yes, just if you have OEM locking nuts which came with my 2017 TRD Off Road. Other than that I am quite happy with the wheel spacers. Although I did discover that when I put on my winter tires which are a bit wider than the OEM tires they rub a bit on the mud flaps when turning sharp. But this will be resolved in the spring when I install replacement front shocks that I will lift the front end about 1.5".

I just put up the last taco I acquired. Everyone in the family has their taco Now (each patch best resembles the person)


And I absolutely love this patch

 

I would be very hesitant to do that. With it being such thin metal you could warp the gas door or damage the paint. Just my thoughts.

 

Well they look longer and the ends look like the taper near the bend. Nothing huge, wonder if this has to do with the rust that was common on the door sills, not sure how it would help

Can you take one of the back doors?

 

I have had the Pedal commander for about 2 months its great. Played with all the settings ended up set at city +1now my toco drives like It should. Play with all the settings but be carefull in traffic it will be easy to rear end someone.
