Having used these for a couple weeks now, they are awesome, I have recommended them to others but they don't seem to think there is a difference or the cost is to high. They all think the blue color looks cool though.

Installed heated mirrors tonight and like the extra view. I don’t have OEM mirror turn signals, want to eventually install them. I’m wondering if it’s possible to tap into forward facing side mirror markers instead of having to run wires into cab. I have MESO turn signals. Clueless, suggestions appreciated.

Wait do you have the heaters already connected or the turn signals connected. I'm kinda confused by the post?

Unless you have a constant 12 volt source on the meso signals which I'm pretty sure you don't you will have to run a nice thick gauge positive wire into the cab to connect heated mirrors on trucks without heated mirrors. I prefer to tap into the stock defroster 12 volt so when you turn on defrost these turn on. Another option would be to have a left side switch. For example one of mesos left side pod switch assemblies with say a mic tuning switch. I know other companies like cali raised have theirs with like 3 switch capability. At least with the switch you could turn on and off the heated mirrors. I would connect the switch to an add a fuse at the fuse block. Just some thoughts. On my other car I wired the mirrors to the rear defroster wire which obviously the Tacoma doesn't have.

Thank you for the information.. To clarify, I switched out OEM turn signals with MESO turn signals a few months ago. The truck came with side window defrost feature and I swapped OEM side mirrors out for Suma’s with defrost feature. I don’t have side view mirror turn indicators. I’m interested in adding Suma defrost with side turn indicators. I’ve read you’d have to run wires into cab and somehow tap turn signal wires. I’m wondering if one could possibly tap into forward facing side turn indicator instead of having to run long wire. Again, I’m clueless with electronics..Just asking if it’s possible.

The Suma mirrors are awesome, just need to get used to the change in perspective on drivers side.

So if you installed mesos turn signals why can't you just tap the Suma mirror turn signals into mesos turn signal wires right at the mirror?

Thank you for the confirming my question. Has anyone successfully done this? Which wire to tap on front turn signals?

Post #69 shows me tapping into the same wires going into the meso signals. @Lemmy68

Thank you for the insight.. I connected as instructed, per your instructions and they are wrong for 2019. The pink wire is hot and identical to both sides.Chopped & tapped Meso wiring too many times to troubleshoot. Both sides wired identical, at least for 2019’s.

Do the SUMA BSM version have a little cut out in the mirror, like the OEM one, to allow the indicator light to flash as well? Didn't see anything posted on their site. TIA!

Did they come back in stock? Or did you DM them directly? I'm seeing "Sold Out" right now :(

I installed these after their Black Friday sale and love them. They make a huge difference with how wide they with the anti-glare coating. The turn signals are super cool too and the heating function still works fine. Install was super easy. Thanks to @Volksparts for finding this and for the install instructions.

Remember to use the coupon code TACOMAWORLD at checkout for a discount. I also noticed that whenever there are any holidays in the past you could double up the coupon on top of the sale price.
