Was this in response to the non-pro pro thread?

    Yeah.

Kind of like a "hey guys, check the 3rd gen section. There's some more than usual shit poppin' over there"

I have a co-worker that is looking for a turd gen. He keeps showing me ads for rigs with 6" drop brackets, ugly ass 20" black fuel wheels etc. Seems like a turd gen would actually fit him.

Haha, it's actually the exact opposite. He's a lanky, quiet, shy, fairly effeminate guy. Has no bearing, but it made sense when I found out that he is gay.

I've heard the same about the rear door. Some people like it, some don't. I don't really care too much about the door. I like the GX for other reasons (self leveling suspension, KDSS, all the luxury bells and whistles...). Mostly, it's super comfortable.

I still want an 80 series though. There's something about a triple locked, solid axle beast that gets me going.

Yeah, I absolutely love mine. I just got done doing the timing belt and water pump on the GX a couple days ago. My Taco is a garage queen, but I had to drive it to work (100 mile round trip) to work for a week while the GX was down. Driving the Taco made me realize how nice the GX really is.

@Kwikvette Did you get usmc squared away with lug nut lock? You must have a numbered set of lug nut keys or he found someone else by pm.

He PMed me before I even replied again in the thread.

Looks like he's going to just hammer a socket on there as I suggested.

PMed me too, now posted in 1st gen forum. "Don't want to hammer on a socket" IDK if he is stranded with a flat tire.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Went out there and actually looked. Never noticed the block off plate there... figured it would be on the back of the axle.

So you 2 can do your happy dance... I guess this was important enough to bring up across multiple threads... what's up with that?

Didn't wanna fill the other guys thread since it's a buy and sell. This threads already filled with junk, seemed appropriate
