If it would display Waze, I could probably live with it long term. As it is, it will likely be replaced at some point once I find a good one with as big of a screen and will interface with Maestro, etc.

I have the upgraded radio system and have a subscription to Sirius Xm which costs me a whopping $7 a month way less then tires / rims / 3 inch lift. My system is actually very nice and very loud have no complaints.

All things considered I'd rather my head unit be replaced but I don't care enough to spend that money. As long as it doesn't shut down more often than it already does I'll keep it

Fair point, I was just venting. Perhaps should have listened to my gut and not posted /shrug.

This was the only reason I almost waited for the 2020s, but I couldn't justify the $$$ difference for a simple head unit. Especially because it's not wireless! Now I'm considering an aftermarket replacement. Seems quite affordable considering how often/always I use this.

Yeah, the "wired" aspect killed this for me as well. Almost a downgrade haha

    LOL

    AGREED

Just to be clear – I started this whole thread to complain about the mobile entune APP. It seems like the only features it adds are:
    * iHeart radio (who the heck uses this?)
    * Yelp (wtf why would i ever want his in my truck)
    * LiveXLive (literally never heard of this)

The head unit/HMI car interface are not too terrible. They're all bad honestly, it works well enough for me.

hondas system is pretty amazing. I am disspointed with most other manufacturers factory radio systems.

Must not have CarPlay? Waze works on mine. I have NO complaints with the system, but the again I’m coming from Ford’s SYNC system.......horrible.

They added it for 2020. I'll just end up with some sort of aftermarket unit, because with the Qi charger it makes no sense to wire it up.

OK, Qi "maintainer." It will just keep it right about the same level when having Waze on and streaming for me.

Actually, it does work really well for my AirPods, so there is that.

I would love to have this feature on my 2020 OR but apparently "it isn't available for 2020" coming from my dealer. I call bs or just a crappy application. What is the point of having the Apps button then?
