    FWIW, I'm kinda surprised that it ran for as long as it did, and am glad they didn't kill it right away.
    There was a time someone wanted to set up a go fund fundraiser for a member whose house burned down, at it was shut down right away (or wasn't allowed at all).
    Nonetheless, it's great that at least a few of us here (and on the other forum) had a chance to contribute. Thanks again @HolyHandGrenade for setting it up:thumbsup:. Good on you bud!

    Just a heads up to everyone, they can be allowed per the CoC:

    "Any link pertaining to affiliate links, self-promoting links including YouTube channels, crowdsourcing, or fundraiser links of any kind are not permitted without prior approval by the staff. This includes personal fundraising through GoFundMe, Patreon, etc. This applies to any fund raising means as well; such as raffles, lotteries, etc."

    If we let them all happen, we'd be inundated w/ ones like before about "help me pay for my lift". It's not about going against specific people, it's keeping them off unless it's been properly cleared.
