It's a super easy trail nothing technical at all. Just something cool to check out

Driving out to remote spots is super fun!
But...I'm always thinking, "What if I get stuck???"
I carry some basic recovery gear, but I'm not 100% sure I know how to use it effectively. I found this channel today and it's been fantastic to hear about non-traditional recovery points, straps, etc. But also just watching the process play out, recovery can take some time and effort, and it's good to recognize that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDUQJSDkQXk&list=UUwdVOry0oNF9WIe_3uCfz9Q&index=6

I really like this channel, and actually bought one of their hats! Although not action packed, Matt goes into shackles and recovery points here:

All those videos of wheelin' in the snow...pretty awesome. I guess I'll just cruise by the ocean...

Played in the puddles at Rowher Flats over the weekend. My brother put together a little video of it.

Thanks! he's about to turn 11mnths, showing signs of nice maturity. Very much a nut case tho and we LOVE it!! We're not hunters but he definitely shows potential if we were.

Thanks! Hi from Alberta!! I've never been further East in Canada than Alberta... I Can't imagine living far from the mountains, quick 1hr. drive and it feels like the world is ours.

Funny every time I’ve been out after about 3 days I’m wondering how everyone there lives so far from the ocean! I also say I’m moving there for the 2 months following each trip out haha. But really, I don’t think I could ever move there permanently for the lack of an ocean!

You are correct, the ocean to me also trumps the mountains. At least if i'm not wanting to scratch the off-road itch. West coast, best of both worlds.. lol

Because hurricanes, tsunamis and flooding. I know the west coast doesn't get it as bad, but that's why I wouldn't want to live near the ocean.

Did a bunch of trail in Sedona over New Years week. Best trail was Devils bridge to dry creek rd. We found an offshoot of the main trail that lead to a cabin and some water crossing.
