The rivers are busting their banks here in Indy. Bill you oughta get plenty of water today by the look of things.

Up here in Maine we had 50 degrees today, looking at an inch and a half of rain tomorrow supposedly. Floods incoming I can only guess

Good to hear. We are still getting rain and wind and are under a tornado watch but looks like we are about half way through looking at radar

I do this as well. I have the revolver cover on my DCSB. Just drop the tailgate, load up the bins, close tailgate.

Didn’t know this thread existed... Rosie (named after the B17 Rosies Riveters, my grandfather was Crew Chief of that bird) here is a 2008 DCSB 4x4 that I inherited from my late father. He died of extremely aggressive leukemia.

Only mods I have done is a set of TRD wheels. Stock everywhere else. Dad had a Leer cover on it, but I swapped it out for a BAK Revolver bed cover. I drive on city streets and in neighborhoods so I needed to be able to see better.

Just passed 100k. Truck has been on three continents.

Thanks for that. I’m actually the first male in my family that didn’t go into the military in many generations. I couldn’t pass the physical with my messed up back. My dad and uncle were both Air Force. Uncle flew in the belly of the U2 as a linguist. Dad was an AF sniper for many years.

Same here. My family has answered the call in every American conflict since King Philips war. I tried to enlist in the Navy (Dad served in Korea) and was medically disqualified for my feet (at the time I was running 60 miles a week!) AS a Dead Head during 'peace time' (early/mid 80's) I shrugged and figured it wasn't meant to be. I could have (should have?) fought it.

Broke a 350 year old family tradition.

Regardless, nice truck, and I imagine you feel even more responsibility to keeping it up than most. Welcome to the thread.
