I believe it was Patrick henry in 1775 who said, "Give me front springs or give me death." I'd prefer a cheap, elegant, functional solution (such as a leveling spring for the front) in this case over a more costly one.

I believe they would sell great. Im assuming they would be similar in performance to Bilstein 6112s and their rear 5160s? A ton of guys here run those and are happy so I think yours would sell well also. Depending on price point makes me consider holding off on installing my Pro Kit.

Has anyone had any problems with their cv angles? Any boots ripping? I've read about people having trouble with boots and accelerated wear in the cv joints due to lifts and wonder if this lift has any of those affects. Any pics of your cv boots/angles would be cool. Thanks for all the great info in this thread.

Is that the one at the top or bottom? It did look a bit lopsided still so makes sense.

Recompress the spring, remove it, and install the perch correctly. The perch in on the bottom (perch: where the spring sits, top hat: on top of the spring. The top nut is spinning because it's just spinning the shaft. There should be an allen head cut into the top of the shaft so that after you get the compressors back on and clamped down, you can throw a wrench on there and use an allen key to oppose the wrench turning.

Thanks, got it off. The top couple threads are stripped on the shaft and the nut threads are also a little beat up too. Going to try and repair the threads and get a new nut and try again. Is that worth it or get a new shock?

I certainly would attempt thread repair before replacing it. Get the right size die and run it down the top. I wouldn't do it with a file or anything if you haven't done thread repair before. The most important thing is that the nut is seated on good threads. If it doesn't rest on those when the nut is installed, it's not a big issue as long as it won't cause cross-threading further down the shaft.

Updated thoughts/review on the Pro Lift kit for my 19 OR.

Truck is basically stock- 265/75/16, SCS wheels, sliders, and Pro Lifts (middle setting)

Initial thought: great on road, but a bit too stiff for hitting bumps. However, I just got back from ~65 miles of dirt from Landers to Barstow (Socal high desert) and I realized I was wrong! The suspension handled all the whoops, rocks, sand, etc. way better than I expected. Can't beat the Pro Lift Kit for the money!
