One of my work buddies had their old 4 runner stolen from in front of his house today. Ravenna Seattle area. License plate WA BGG8955. He’s pretty bummed about it. Please keep your eyes open for this.

Left Friday morning for Lonesome Lake. First attempt, Friday afternoon. Second attempt Saturday. Success. Same campsite Friday and Saturday nights. Gettingout this morning was rough. Drifts are a bitch.

@TexMeg89 was voted best driver of the week. Ran through 5+ feet and got pulled out less than the rest of us including the guy on 40s. On stock tires.

 

We almost headed up that way Saturday but ended up staying on the east side of 410. Looks like a blast!

 

First two days were good. Getting out today was rough. Weather was such that the sleds were turning around.

turns out @JimSnell and crew was at the top of the other road I was going to take you if the snow park was closed. Looks like it got hit hard up there too

Who is running GMRS or HAM and pros - cons? Looking to add to my comms setup along with the garmin Inreach i just got? Probably get HAM license once i get to the west coast. What are you guys normally running on trails out there? I already have the CB setup, Garmin Inreach and Ipad mini, but want to add HAM and midland 15 watt GMRS for more capability. Thoughts?
