This looks cool and also isn’t lying. If you have a SR5 4x4 I say go for it.

Now putting a TRD Off Road badge, and lying about the trim you drive, is a cornball move in my opinion.

while we're qualifying poseur vs non-poseur cosmetic mods, what's the current consensus on a faux pro grill on a non pro 2nd gen? Same as a TRD sticker on a SR5?

I have one on my truck. Not because it makes my sport a pro, but because I like the way the grill looks better. Same with the slightly grey tinted pro headlights. My original headlights had yellowed several times even after restoration so when it came time to replace them I went with the pro headlights. It is all just cosmetics and preference.

I've got the faux pro grill on a completely debadged SR5. When I started down that path I didn't realize it was a hallmark of the Pro, Just wanted a different look to the grill. I would avoid misrepresenting at 'all costs' on my truck, to the extent that the wheels I want have TRD ctr caps, and I want to find a way to conceal or rebadge them SR5...I'm more about a throwback appearance to the truck in general, than trying to make it look like something it isn't.

Funny how these things play out.

Same here. I liked the way that grill looked and didn’t know it was Pro only.

It also doesn’t say Pro or TRD like a sticker, so it isn’t the same.

Decent wheels, but nothing on black ones to me. No insult intended to anyone, but i don't like silver/chrome wheels. I've seen builds that looked great with them, but i like black better.

I've wondered about that as well, if you interchange parts, such as wheels and so forth, it's not in its original SR5 production, but it's in-between SR and TRD... (Thus my BNB tag)

That’s bullshit and against the law, you should be sued and made to pay a hefty fine.
