What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It's more a matter of prepping them for public consumption. They do civilian shoots twice a year on the back side of the range complex at Knob Creek, and they have folks up and down the road selling them, but the formal prep involves painting over the information spray painted on them and that has to be done at the using unit level, otherwise they just get put in a pile, or turned back in to ammo folks. Without revealing sources and methods, I know where the "pile" is.....

 

Wish I knew, not that it would do me any good. I am however "curious" about what is in that pile.
Think I still have a few lives left.

 

I left out a good part. KO2s seemed fine but I was not exploring the limits.

 

I was referring to the ammo boxes. They are quite prevalent as the USN shoots miniguns on the Salt River and goes through a f**kton of 7.62.

Just Replaced my headlight / wiper stalk. I now have intermittent wipers and fog light switch. I've been sitting on this project for a couple of weeks out of dread. Turned out to be simple and glitch free. Took me about an hour with half of that used making trips back to the house and garage to get tools. Only issue I had was I lost the Torx bit used to remove the airbag. Fortunately I had a backup and could proceed. Next up is the fog light.

 

What tent did you get and how was it?

 

Did you have Premium Glass and Tint in Rancho do the tint on your truck?

 

Added extruded aluminium bars to bed rail to accommodate my old Thule rack with "Rain gutter" foot pack. Will be using to support snowboard rack

 

There's a lot of things folks like to eat that don't look appetizing. I'll just leave it at that.

 

And weed was "the devil's lettuce" and meth didn't exist. Good ole days!

I ordered the ‘compact short bed’ size and it is a perfect fit for the short bed.

I am 6’ 3” and had no problem fitting length wise in the tent. It’s also very spacious height-wise. At the cost of the tent I was very impressed.

 

Battery dead at 20k. So I guess I get to buy a new battery? Does that count lol

 

Either get a free cheap replacement from dealer or spend the money to buy a good one. Mine went at 18k and I just replaced with better brand 27f and a bigger 2nd Gen battery tray.

This was actually a couple days ago as I just stumbled on this thread, but swapped from stock wheels to Ray 10s
