I was out killing time over the weekend. Stopped by a local Dodge dealer the see what Challenger's they might have in stock. Sorta interested in a Hell Kitty. But none to be found. Especially none with Red eyes. Did see this on the showroom floor. $10K worth of lift and no door package.

Have to assume you do get the doors as well.

I was seriously tempted, because I loved my old Jeep. But not for what they are selling for.

I didn't have any doors or a top for the one I had. I cut it in half and stretched it a foot to get the Chevrolet 350 and 4 speed tranny in it.

Nice. There was one guy I knew of back around 2000 or so that pulled a 360/trans out of a Dakota and put it in his TJ. He had all sorts of electrical issues, but if it was working it would spin the shit out of the tires.

I tried to spin mine on pavement once, it twisted the driveshaft like a paper sac. I had a new one made out of thicker tubing, worked great after that, lol.

Special ordered a B5 blue 392 Shaker back in Jan, 2016. Although I did look at Hellcats I found that 440 whp was plenty for the street.

Had I decided I was going street/strip at the time, I probably would have gotten a Kitty.
I just wanted a streetable weekend cruiser.

The stupid amount of money you have to put into the apache engine just to get 600+ at the wheels is crazy. And you smoked your warranty.

700+hp in a HC with warranty is a no brainer. I just don't like the widebodys though.

Scat Pack got traded in last year for a JLU Rubicon.
I really enjoyed the 3 yrs of ownership despite a few issues with it. dynoed @ 439hp/426tq.

You drove from SC to Greensboro to buy a Tacoma from a Dodge dealer?

Hey, it costs money to show everyone you're wearing sandals while driving and sticking one foot out so that your athlete's foot gets some air.

I asked. You get the doors. They're $1 extra. But no crate. :D

That's what a 3.6L Gladiator Rubicon goes for in Canada with nothing added on.
