I like to off road but i had to get a new tacoma because my grandparents didn't want me in a old truck which sucked cause i wanted a older tacoma but the new ones are great don't get me wrong i just want to try and protect it a little so my grandparents wont get mad and stuff. i want to wheel but were i live there is no good cut trails lots of over hang and stuff is there any thing i can do to limit the scratches and stuff i know its going to happen im just wondering? the clear coat sure makes every thing stick out. just wondering what you all think. thanks

Get a good coat of a sealant on the truck and wax/buff as needed. Most of that stuff will clean out no problem.

If you are really serious about offroading i would not worry so much about the scratches i would get sliders they will really save your truck, scratches are not preventable for serious offroading. i dont offroad in really tight trails and my truck is covered in scratches, with a good scratch X, buff and wax u can hardly see them.

It all starts where you are, you buy your truck hoping it to be a street queen and keeping it looking perfect, after a few weeks on this site you add your little mods to make it more fun, then a few months later you get extreme start cutting away at the truck put in a supercharger try to clear bigger tires, you go on your first wheeling trip, then start wheeling, fuck up the fenders and the underbody, scratche the shit out of your bedsides, and then look back to when you first began and ask yourself what happened.
