    That is potentially false information.

I've purchased car / truck tires from TireRack a few times and now Amazon once. Zero issues, same as my store experiences. The ones received by me (some were for the MiL) were always fresh tires.

Also, I have purchased every motorcycle tire that I ever used from various online vendors. We could say that those are more critical. I've used a bunch of different vendors looking for the best price. Always fresh tires. I only ever had one bad set. They were a brand new model that absolutely sucked in the wet (Pirelli Angel GT). Being a new model, just a few months on the market, there was no way they could have been old stock.

Look at the date code in the oval on the sidewall. It is the week number and two digit year of manufacture.

Our local tire place price matched Amazon. May want to try that.

I would but it's facing the wrong way under my truck and it takes 2 people to make it fit haha.

    Ah!

I did flip mine for easier air checks. I put the valve stem toward the front where it is much less likely to drag if I drop the tail over something.

I convinced my bro to get 275 E rated wildpeaks for his tundra. He got a hole in the sidewall of 2 tires on our recent trip to NM. No gnarly driving or roads, either. Luckily he had the replacent warranty through Discount. But still, a pain to interrupt the hunt with a trip to Discount in Alb. One day blown.
I'd go through a local shop and get replacent warranty.

Yeah, being that my spare is mounted on an SCS Ray10 I wanted to make sure I didn't mess up the paint more than necessary, and it does drag off road sometimes since it's so wide. Pain in the butt but I don't want to get a tire carrier for my bed. Oh well.

Alright guys I appreciate the info but discount tire direct doesn't apply to me because we don't have one here and shipping is outrageous from them due to the weight. Outrageous like for 4 tires its $300 to ship them. Lol

Oh! Very much agreed there. Nice wheels!

Yeah. For my use, bed mounts wouldn't work. That said, with some D rings, you could strap it in while off roading, if you have the available space:

If I had some Rays, I might do that when going offroad anyway. Smacking inner lip would give me an aneurysm. :D

Another problem is that I don't knows all shops that carry the falken brand and I really want them because of the good reviews from TW.

You had good luck or bad? I've given up with them after a couple sets of shitty car tires also (stock P6 back in 2001 and P-zero Nero M+S / two sets on different cars).

I do know of some folks that had great experiences with the AGTs, but others have posted similar to my experience. I was thinking it might have been a bad batch, but honestly, the stock Toyos on the Taco acted the same. Shit grip and literal slipping on any wet tar snakes or paint and general slipping on plain, wet pavement.

I was floored when I spooned on some Pilot Road 4s and discovered that both ends were slipping in just about every wet corner.

Sorry. I meant to state that my experience mirrors yours except for the Pirelli because I never bought that brand.
