    MOrning alll... one last question about the Cb antennae... so i almost have everything wired up, but need to know where the ground goes

    The antennae setup is antennae, spring mount, insulator, truck mount, female-female connector, coaxial, bolt that attaches the coaxial to the female connector

    Where would the ground go?

    It's a ground wire. It goes to......wait for it.........the ground. Just let it dangle off the truck so it make contact with the ground.

    burg, you know what a ground is right? anything unpainted on the body or with any other ground, or run it to the battery, whatever you want.

    im talking about within the antennae setup... didnt know if closer to antennae or closer to the coax would be better

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    when i ran one straight to the bed before, i think i did it between the isolator and the mount. try it in a few places and see where you can get the best SWR.
