3M VHB or anything else... so instead of dicking around with it I'll just get some peel and stick tailgate weatherseal and put it on later.

Anyways, just wanted to throw out there... I have a large metal waterbottle like that I used to keep in the truck until last spring when I was involved in an accident where I ended up going off the road at speed and down an embankment.

It flew around in the cab and bashed out the pass side back window.

Wouldnt have hurt me if it bashed me upside the head but it might have distracted me from the creative driving it took to keep from rolling and totalling my truck or maybe broke my nose.
And thats why the sub box is ratchet strapped down.

It actually did me a favor, the aftermarket back window they installed when they rebuilt my front suspension slides open and shut way easier than that stock one ever did but still, could have been tragic...

Since its the only thing that really hangs loose inside the cab there is a plastic one that lives in the truck now.
When I use that metal one or my thermos they go in a backpack or tucked behind the back of the seat now.

Never again in that holder or loose on the pass seat.

Lesson learned almost the hard way.

New Shoe day!!!!! Super happy with how these turned out, perfect offset, and the white bolts turned out amazing! Now somebody local buy my old wheels, help me offset the cost Haha. Also got some black lug nuts.

 

We are not required to have front plates but would having the license plate mounted on the skid plate be legal?

That one small thing I want out of there is ALWAYS the one thing I cant find!!!!

 

I found the color match surround/grille assembly from a Toyota dealer online parts department - I forget which dealer. Just do a google search or call your local Toyota dealer and tell them you are looking for a replacement surround/grille assembly for a TRD Sport and give them your color. They will give you a part number and you can then do a search for the least expensive option...or just buy it from that dealer on the spot.
