Don't mix up my words man. Relative to the mindset of the OP, this is very "hackerish". I believe describing it as such is helpful to his predicament.

I strongly disagree that performing basic operations with a PC is anything hackerish or even close to it.

Calling it hackerish doesn't help at all either, makes it seem like its some highly complicated process only a neckbearded lard ass could do, it's not

any 3rd party driver update I have ever installed ever, from raspberry pi, ds3 ps3 controller driver with pc, fallout mods, oblivions mods always feel kinda similar.

even updating my nvidia drivers from the geforexperience app feels kinda hacky

and i mean it installing this driver essentially is a hack, you arent really supposed to be able to do that..

Oh goodness. As I said earlier, terminology is important, esp if we're really trying to help the OP. So, let's clear this up:

We are all infected with the Orange Virus and frankly I'm thankful I'm a carrier.

I'm pretty certain that I passed it along to at least six or seven others.

If I redo the software install again (basically 1st and 2nd steps) this is harmless, correct? I found someone with better understanding who will go thru the steps again ensuring I made no error.
Since I do not yet have the reg key, this is ok to perform?

If you haven’t sent in a reg key you can do whatever you want. Nothing to break cuz nothing is setup.

Bare with me....I sent in the ID to the computer. I'm waiting to receive the reg key is my understanding.
I just want a friend to reinstall the program you get from the OV webpage incase I missed anything. But no, nothing is officially registered yet until I hear back from matt at OV

If you already have flash manager installed and got the system ID, the only thing left to do is install the drivers and the reg key when you receive it. No need to start over. You’ve got 95% of your work done.

Also, uninstalling and reinstalling FM does not affect the System ID.

If you install it on a new computer, and want to register that computer, then the process starts over and you have to send us the system ID for that computer.

You did everything correctly so far by sending us your system ID. Don't over complicate it for no reason.
