Between being a single parent, working 50-60 hours a week, and working on her bachelors I'm certain she would tell me to fuck off or invite me to clean it for her

The place is clean for the most part but the dander from the six dogs we have between us is a bit much. Though it's five now, she rehomed one yesterday and two more are up for adoption as well...

 

ooof yeah that must be frustrating.

I guess he made his mom cry or something because he was bitching to her and she doesn't even make $25 an hour

if u got extra time, def try to clean it up a bit as a good surprise for her; she'll likely love it.(and u might get a gift in return if u catch my drift)
It'll help your allergy symptoms too, as u mentioned. That amount of dogs and shedding is BOUND to cause allergies to act up. Just some dusting, wiping down shit (like the tops of ceiling fans), moping, vacuuming will do the job!

 

Tell him if he thinks hes worth $50/hr to quit bitching and go find a $50/hr job.

I might have some extra time when I'm there this week so I ought to poke at it. I know she's been feeling overwhelmed quite a bit..and her mom has been giving her a hard time about the chores too

 

I thought I was worth more then what I was making once. Interviewed elsewhere and they put me in my place. Took it as a lesson that I needed to improve myself and get off the high horse that I was on.

 

Yeah, I know what you are talking about and it's hard to swallow that and admit to yourself.


Unfortunately he doesn't have that awareness, he even asked for a raise and basically got told the same thing by his manager; first job, no experience, only been there a month or two etc... and promptly returned to bitching about how his manager is out of touch too

First job and no experience+he asked for a raise in 2 months? Hes lucky to have that job haha.

The goal should be to show the employer that you deserve a raise, not ask for one.

Some people just need a healthy dose of reality.

 

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to me for you to shine brotha. Make it a surprise and it'll go great, she will love it, and it'll show u "listen" and "notice things" like women always talk about haha
