Installed 7” led light bars for fog lights. Wiring tucked and switch mounted in blank space beside steering wheel. Turned out great. Haven’t taken a night pic yet but will later on.

    This ^ lol

Went solo into the woods. Truck got dirty, I had fun.

    Well not completely solo.

Was the first time I got to really push the rear shocks in the sand. Can't wait to beat on the new front ones.

Also developed a squeal that comes and goes from the front drivers side wheel. My first thought was sand in there but it might be the dust shield. Hoping that's the case and I didn't blow the bearing.

Either I’m dumb or the axle doesn’t come all the way out to reach the seals.

Or maybe I’m thinking of how you do it on Domestics.

No pin holding the axles like domestic. Just unbolt and pull. The third can’t even be removed till the axles are out

Good to know! I was afraid I might be looking at a bigger issue. Hopefully that’ll be it, puts my mind at ease for now. One more project to add to the list :bananadead:

it’s a junkyard replacement. Original motor had HG issues. Which sticker are you referring to, I didn’t know that was a thing.

Small steps are being made on @RobertsT4R

    Whiteline bushings done

Replaced the bushings in the auto shifter. Feels brand new now.

    Did the diff breather

And finally replaced the wiper blades

Still waiting for the Tcase drain plugs to arrive, to change the oil in it... need to grab some more 80w 90 tomorrow so we can change out the rear (for some reason I only have 2.5 quarts)

It's less Tacoma and more mod
That explains it. It's usually for warranty purposes. So you don't come back to them with your dick in your hands complaining it doesn't work. If they see the center dot on those change color then they know you overheated it and void your warranty. Many reman places put them all over to see where the installer or the customer fucked up, that way they can place blame accordingly.

So I rebuilt the front end this weekend. All new MOOG LCAs, LBJs, Inner/Outer Tie Rods and SPC Cam alignment bolts. The whips minus the Wifeys Subaru Outback.

Out of curiosity, did you have any front to back movement in the shifter? The new bushings took care of 100% of my side to side movement, but only a little of the front to back. Looking at it I think it's just slop in the linkage, but couldn't figure out where to tighten it up.
