Turtles are terrible pets. My brother got a tiny one in Chinatown several years ago because his gf wanted it. 5 years later it's the size of a small plate and you can't really handle them cause they can carry salmonella. When my brother moved out of my parent's house my dad let the turtle go "free" in the backyard, not realizing turtles arent tortoises and need water to dwell in to survive. Hopefully it at least got eaten by a bird or something and put to good use.
Not to mention they live for like 100 years in captivity.

 

Coming here just constantly puts a smile on my face watching some of you guys go back and forth. Then also the fact everyone’s cool enough to help each other.

What’s the best headlight bulbs to run on 9003? LED or HID?

 

Yea this was one of those super common Red Eared Slider turtles. They can perch themselves on land but spend most of the time in water.

 

I have a big ass turtle thats like 10+ years old i want gone but no one will take it

Put it up for free on Craigslist...someone will probably make a turtle soup out of him though

You have juice at the light connectors for the bulb? If you're LED, those are directional. Try flip flopping the bulb, if it's LED

I have power. Tried a regular bulb and led. Nothing works. Just been living without it.

No HIDs for this guy. Housings aren't right for it. Just be a blinding machine if I did that. I'm happy with my light output, even with one bulb out I barely noticed until I caught a glimpse of it in a shop window.
