Oh, then I dunno. If you got 12V but bulb doesn't light up, likely the bulb. Try Sylvania long life bulbs, it'll be the standard part number than like an LL on the end or something

I run HIR in my Avalon

 

And they don’t make hir h4

 

Toshiba developed it for halogen housings. Amazing output

 

I have them in my Cruisers

 

They exist?

I just know of 9012 and 9011

 

Maybe they stopped making them? If so, wonder why? It was a few years ago I bought em

9011 I thought was identical to H4? I could be mixed up for sure. I remember we could modify one tab on the HIR brights bulb to go into the primary bulb spot

 

There were some cheap “hir” bulbs documented a while ago. But they weren’t made to h4 standards

 

Ohh the land cruiser takes 9006 and 9005?

 

What about 9006, cause that's what LCs take

 

H4 is what the tacos take

 

Toshiba and Philips were who we bought

9012, buy the philips one and trim the tab. Way brighter plug and play. Same wattage. Slightly whiter

 

9005 is interchangeable with 9011
9006 is interchangeable with 9012
