    I don't have a set day yet for a new furnace and AC Unit, after I get the floor fixed in the hallway then I will give the guy a call. I am sure most of the refrigerant leaked out as I would have to get it filled every year but this past Summer I had to have it filled twice.

    Right, my plan is to get the hallway done over the winter so then the guy can come out sometime in the Spring.

    I made a DoorDash delivery into my old neighborhood last night, to a guy who lived in the same model my parents had. My parents' old townhouse was the only 3-bedroom version in the whole neighborhood with dual-zone A/C. My parents paid Toll Brothers about $6,000 extra to get that installed, and it was well worth it! I was talking to this guy, who was not the original owner, and he said his single-zone A/C and heat SUCKED!

    I haven't had a chance to talk to the Ex-Fiance' but supposedly that guy was coming back to finish doing the Goodman System over the weekend.

    Whenever you get a house you can set up whatever systems you like, one of the nice things about ownership!

    @shakerhood

    This is a typical single-zone central A/C system at a home in America...

    [IMG]

    On a really hot day, a house over 2,000 square feet with only one air-conditioner is like this in the eyes of the people who live there...

    [IMG]

    And this is how that air-conditioner probably feels, especially when the homeowner sets the thermostat below 70°F...

    @ColoradoTJ

    How many central air-conditioners does your house have?

    This is me with the A/C cranked in my Tacoma, even when it's above 90°F!

    I WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY!!!

    Are you kidding me? Mine is far from the best A/C in the world, but it will literally numb my fingers; Also, when it is blown against the back window, the airflow hits the back of my head and numbs the skin on the back of my neck!

    I guess being a dark grey double cab works against it, I need to be in shorts and a T shirt to feel cool.

    I drove my uncle's black 2017 Access Cab TRD Sport 2WD in September 2019 and the A/C seemed to work fine, though I think it was in the like 80°F outside at the most. The real test of a vehicle's air-conditioner, in my opinion, is at temperatures above 85°F.

    Driving back from York in 95°F heat last August, the A/C in my truck worked flawlessly. Like I said, the A/C blows against the back window, bounces off it, and numbs the back of my neck! Ever since I got the evaporator core replaced, it works amazing!

    Also, my truck is a regular cab, it is silver, and it has aftermarket window tint...

    I'll bet your Mustang had really good A/C when you first bought it!

    Yes, it actually was very comfortable. I also had an 02 Mustang GT that had an insanely cold AC System, you would swear they borrowed AC parts from a F350 passenger van.

    In our townhouse in Furlong, having dual-zone A/C (two 2-ton central air-conditioners and two 40,000-BTU gas furnaces) felt like having one of these...

    [IMG]

    In a house this size...

    And even in the brutal summer of 2010 when all the grass in our yard died, I felt like this in my house...
