Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I was the one who posted that. Just checked again today and it said shipped.

I sent my system ID last sunday night and have not received my reg key.

 

Don't worry, things will work out soon enough. I ordered mine on the last day of the sale (Dec 8th), and because of the rush from the sale, the holidays, and Mat breaking his arm; my tune didn't arrive until today. It was an excruciating wait, but now my truck is 2.0 beta tuned and running like a champ! After owning the truck for almost 2 years, I'm finally happy with how it drives.

 

Can someone please help clarify how the 2.0 page is organized? I have a 2019 TRD Sport bone stock, 04B31 ECU, AT, looking for 87 Octane w/ stock exhaust tune, which file do I need? I think it's 04B31+-+2.0+EROM+87+-+Shift+Build+19800.p5f? PCM files are just for dongle users right??

 

If your ecu is 04b31 and you're dongleless then you're good to go. Yes pcm is for the dongles

 

I have only gone dead in this truck in reverse....in my own driveway....3 times. Maybe 4. Damn tall reverse gear wtf lol.

Mat- since we’re all getting ready for the big 2.0 coming-out party, can you tell us your release plans? Specifically, will 2.0 be available in pcm flavors for us old dongle users? I seem to remember you trying to move everyone to dongle-less. And thanks for the massive effort you’ve made on our behalf.

 

I ordered and received my kit last month, sent Mat my system id on 24th of December and haven’t heard a peep since. I’ve also emailed Mat twice since then and still crickets. I understand about holidays and broken bones, but don’t understand how guys who ordered after me have received kits and tuned trucks. Please someone enlighten me? @OVTune

 

Check your email spam folder to ensure your provider didn't flag it as such.

so obviously this is a very large thread.

i started at the end and tried to figure out the latest that is going on. i recently jumped up from 265/70r17s to 285/70r17s and am thinking this will push me to do the tune.

i see that a better overall 2.0 is coming out soon, and that openflash is involved. can someone give me the low down on these details. i went back a bunch of pages but didn't see more specifics. i have an openflash tablet for my BRZ so thats cool.

I don't get how so many people haven't or aren't getting keys back, unless it's being emailed to the wrong place or the IDs are incorrect, or the person is continually replying to or making new tickets.

People who send us 1 ticket with their info get it back fast.
But people who send in multiple requests or if they are continually replying to their ticket it just clog it up and make it slower.


As we have posted probably a hundred times. When you send your ID, just sent it one time. No need to reply to it, no need to create a new ticket etc.

when you reply to your own ticket before we do it gets moved in our system, and that causes delays.

 

Glad you chimed in. I ordered mine during holidays and times were mentioned to be much slower. I got mine in 6-1/2 hours then just waited for my spot in line for the hardware. 12 days total from getting registration key to hardware delivery and this was in December last year during the Black Friday sale where many ordered.

 

@OVTune , yes that was where it was sent. And yes I did reply to the email that replied back to me, but well after I should have gotten the response from you, to be specific, on last Thursday January 9th. Check spam folder everyday.

@OVTune I sent mine as well to the email above and after about 5 days replied to the same email asking for an update. You did reply to a completely different ticket which was submitted two weeks prior but not to the system ID. My order number is 5705.

 

I will have a bunch of reg keys out to pending tickets this afternoon, all of them I can find as a current ticket right now

 

Damn, I'm about 30 orders behind you. I was hoping I'd get it today so I can tune the truck while I work from home.
