Yeah so my hood was damaged from a brick tossed over a soundwall as I was passing by doing like 35 or so. fing kids i'm sure but it hit the bug guard and somehow bounced up over or to the side. I'm positive it would've planted in the windshield if that bug guard hadn't been there. Anyway, was a bit suspicious of the hood being aftermarket since there is no VIN sticker on it anywhere I can see. I believe the vac label is out of placement. You tell me, labels (or anything else) look suspect?

i think you should have a VIN tag unless it was painted over?

You'll see stickers on each side of the hood.

I really don't need another car, but I think I'm going to buy one for a family member. Found a 74 Datsun B210 Fastback, less than a grand. Complete... I think it just needs a Honda K motor to make it reliable and safer than trying to navigate a modern road with a 1.2L carb engine. It was my moms first car, same year and body style. I think it would make a great mothers day gift.

I had the same mentality and then went out and got a GX470. Oh well, having the 2UZ in the fleet is nice.
