Contemplating a full delete of the factory "premium" JBL system and upgrading with better door speakers, tweeters, and 2 10" subs.

Any recommendations out there for door speakers and tweeter upgrades?

Speakers is a subjective topic. We would need more info to be able to advise you better. What genres of music do you listen to and how loud do you like to play your music?

True statement. Wide array of music genres, including rock, EDM, techno, country, folk, bluegrass...minus heavy metal, rap, or reggaeton.

Prefer medium volume. Nothing crazy. Not looking to shake the neighborhood or vibrate the block at stoplights. I enjoy clean, accurate bass but dislike when bass overpowers the other musical elements. Aiming for sound quality > volume.

I prefer Focal speakers but they’re pricey. Pioneer amps and subs

i agree with Focal and would add Rainbow for speakers. i have an arc audio xDi amplifier that i am very happy with. im tied into the stock head unit, so the wiring was a little trickier than just replacing the entire head unit and starting from scratch, but i feel it was worth it. then i added a pioneer slim 10" sub in a downward firing box behind the passenger seat. my system will run you out of the car if you want it to, but its nice and clear for all types of music, including some reggaetón :)

If anyone has any particular door speaker models that they installed or would recommend feel free to drop below :)

I love Crutchfield but their reps have been trying to jam JL audio door speakers down my throat and I'm not a huge bass head / will have medium subs for that. Looking more for sound quality and accurate mids/highs out of some door speakers...dont need them pounding away and mudding out the finer elements. Open to opinions on JLA and others

Kicker door speakers and Memphis tweeters along with a kicker 300 watt amp. No subs, the speakers have plenty of bass.
