those are 40x13.50x17 and 38x13.50x17 black label sticky tires. I wheel out in Johnson valley CA a few times a month. They don’t work nearly as good as goodyear mtr kevlars, or Bfg km3. They aren’t terrible tires. They balance well and are nice and round and are decent on the street just don’t work good in the rain, and not very good in the rocks. But it’s just my opinion.

Kelly or Westlake is as cheap as I'd go.

    But not a new truck.

Sucks spending a lot on a tire, but damn do they last long. I’m rocking Nitto trail grapplers and a firm believer in them

Considering tread life warranty they are probably cheaper than most of the options here.

Yep that’s what I’m going to next. Can’t stand these tires I have now. Ride terrible. Loud as piss. Vibrate worse than my girls fav toy.

I see. I'm sure they aren't as good as a km3 but a lot of Jeep people run them and recommend them. They're pretty cheap and were sold out for a while at one point. If I didn't off road much I'd go with them since they're cheap. Then again, I wouldn't run an mt if I didn't off road a lot.

Anyways, I think OP should tell us what he uses his truck for. No point of going mt if you're just gonna be driving on pavement 100% of the time.

And a lot of people think their kids can decide what gender they are before they understand basic math. I’m just in a shit talking mood is all. Just ignore me haha.

My buddy has 33" Linglongs. Cheap, beefy A/T work great.

I run Falkens. Truck is $35k, I didn't want the cheapest tire possible.

I ran a set of Treadwrights on my Pinzgauer and they did fine. I think the trick is to wear out / break off the tread blocks before the tire goes to hell, then throw them away and put another set on.

I would run them on the Pinz again, or any other truck that is mostly for low speed / off-road use. I'm not sure I'd feel all that warm and fuzzy about them at 85 mph on a 112 degree day though.

The cheapest I would go on tires is the Falkens, and I only have one for a spare. I've been happy with my General Grabber ATXs but you can tell from the siping they aren't quite Toyo or Nitto quality. Some of the sipes don't completely go through the tread blocks. They ride so nice though and are $205 per tire for 305/70R16s.

Get something with a warranty that you don't see people having balancing problems with. You'll be glad you did in the long run.

A the father of a friend of my eldest daughter runs the local tire place. He explained Chinese tires to me once. You can order Chinese tires off of any site, even Alibaba, for less than $25 a tire now. Literally you plug in a bulk order, they get them in a container for you, and you clear them when they get here. I know what you're thinking, hey, those ironman's are worth way more than that on that site. Well here's the trick, it's not cheap shipping tires even by container. After the container, port, and shipping fees plus the customs and taxes a $25 tire suddenly costs almost $150-200. The real trick is though it's still a $25 tire with $25 worth of the lowest Chinese bidders time and materials put into it. Hence when comparing tires its not comparing a $225 Cooper to a $150-200 Ironman, it's comparing a $225 Cooper to a $25 Chinese tire

I should add for the record this tire place sells both Chinese Amp and Conforser tires so he wasn't just trashing his competitors. He stocks the garbage Chinese brands for the young bro dozing oil rig kids who come in looking for 40s and rims but will only pull the trigger if they can find them for as little coin as possible. They don't care if they wear like shit or even come apart, they'll just get another set living paycheck to paycheck.

I have General grabber mud terrain on mine. Bought for the aggressive looks and red letters. My opinion is mixed.
For road use, they are noisy, don't have the best on road performance, wear quicker, not that grippy on the road on wet surfaces/rain at all.
But on mud/terrain they are really good.

You might also consider a different size tire. I recently went 235/75 it's a fairly common size that fills the wheel well nicely but I found to be less expensive than the wider tires.

This my mom wouldn't put Michelins on her Accord and she always complained that the tires were dusted after a year and half. She bought the cheapest tires she could find.

Don't ever buy Iron man mud tires it will be one of the worst decisions of your life. I used to work at Discount tire so I know what i'm talking about.Save up go to discount tire and go get you some Nittos or bfgs that have a mileage warranty and you can also get the certs on them so if anything ever happens to the tires you will get new ones for free.
