Just bought some M/s 2's

well ive searched all over and found the prices on Ebay to be pretty good added in Road Hazard and got them for 948$ but there is a 70$ Discount Tire rebate so its 219$ per tire ill have them mounted and balanced for free

You won't need tires for a looooooooooooong time, smart buy. They are very quiet, handle great, and really last with great tread wear as long as you keep them properly inflated, balanced and rotated. I am very happy with them. Discount gave me $50.00 X4 for my stock dunflops. This knocked off $200.00 off the price of my MS/2/s. It worked out great as I did not have to sell the dunflops.

 

You won't regret getting these. I have run the original MS Michelins on many vehicles and have never had any issues with noise, trouble balancing or funny wear patterns. On my wife's Expedition, I decided to save some money on my last set of tires and put some Cooper Discoverys on it and I have regretted it ever since. They ride really rough and are noisey as heck after 20,000 miles. Sounds like I've got a helicopter flying above me. I've got the AT2 Michelins on my Taco and I absolutely love them. They have 19,000 miles on them, are quiet (a little mud tire like moan) and smooth and you can't even tell they are worn at all.

Had the LTX-MS on my 2007 Tundra and loved them ... have the LTX-AT2s on my Taco and love them too.

Put the AT2s on the Tacoma at 12,500 miles and Discount Tire gave me a discount of $200.00 also for my OEM BFGs.

Both were super tires.

Yeah, I'd like to know that too, since these are what I'm planning on buying sooner or later. Everything I've read said they're pretty good for snow.

 

Personal experience of using them in Canadian winters.




They weren't horrible, and I loved them in the rain, but I'd look elsewhere for a decent all season that will require snow capabilities. We have the same tire on our ambulances and they suck in snow on those too.

 

these new tires are so quiet...ive yet to see any rain but as soon as we get some ill know how they do in that situation cause im definitely not gonna ride the Hayabusa in the rain

That's the original version. You can't make claims on the M/S2's as far as wet traction, snow traction, etc. The M/S2's have 3d interlocking tread blocks that give 10% better snow traction than the originals. That also gives better wet traction and the fact that they tripled the amount of full tread depth sipes helps with wet and dry traction, and braking throughout the life of the tires. I would look into them before making general statements based on your expirience on the old version.
