I called them to trouble shoot. They had me disconnect the Map sensor hose. But nothing changed. They are shipping me a new boost sensor.

I sent my super charger off to The High Speed Lab for a full rebuild. I bought it used last year. The rotors are cooked so it’s getting a new set along with a getting the bore recoated, full rebuild and a new bypass valve and whatever else they find.

Need a bit of info, im up in big bear right now 7k elevation and boost wont go past 1 psi. 2 months ago in would get about 9 to 10 psi at sea level and recent before i hit the climb i was getting about 6psi max but not consistent. I have about 60k on the motor, and 5 k on the new SC.
I am using a scan tool OBDll to read psi boost from the ecu.

Specs. Running URD 7th injector, 2.2 pulley, methanol injection.

Do you feel like the boost has actually stopped building? Or is it just the scanner saying there's a problem?

Reason I ask is because if I try reading boost via my scanner it rarely gives me a reliable reading. The boost gauge is always accurate because it's connected to the boost port on the supercharger.

Do have a boost gauge hooked up? I don't really know if the ECU is capable of reading the supercharger boost stove it's not connected to the supercharger in any way...I could be wrong though

So it still pulls a bit, but i am wondering why before i would get a good 9 to 10 from the scanner tool. I removed my last boost gauge because it wasnt accurate but i might need to plug one back in. I read that these motors dont have a map sensor but it uses the MAF sensor with an algorithm to calculate vacuum/ boost can someone confirm?. Always at high elevations i get little to no psi reading on a scan tool

Well it's definitely normal to lose a certain amount of boost per every couple thousand feet of altitude you gain...but this is definitely beyond the normal amount in your case. I go up to Big Bear often and never notice more than a couple lbs lost

I would try hooking up a boost gauge to confirm, maybe pick up a cheap one somewhere for testing purposes since your other one might be no good.

I was losing boost almost just like you said. It was due to a bad bank 1 02 sensor .. and it was hard to figure out because I wasn't gettin a check engine light at all. sensor was working barely in spec not to throw a light but completly messing up fueling and timing

Yea, just get an inexpensive vacuum boost gauge to see what’s going on and connect it to the supercharger.
    That will tell you everything.

Going from 5000 feet to 8000 feet in the mountains I loose 1 pound of boost and going to 10,000 feet I can loose 2 pounds of boost.

If your feeling a power drop you will know your actually loosing boost

If you have a vacuum leak in the boost gauge or hose or a vacuum that connects to the supercharger YOU WILL loose boost BTW,

Boost via a scanner is the most inaccurate way to measure. It’s just a estimation through OBD2. You need something measuring vacuum from the manifold.

Can confirm. Our trucks don't have any way to measure boost or vacuum. There's no map sensor. The computer uses an algorithm to (guess) determine the readings. Not accurate at all.

You called it. It was the sensor. Innovate sent me a new one. I installed it. We are good to go.

Paying attention to FIC 6 info - found this image on the T4R site.

Might try to find a spare harness to use if I can get one for cheap. Just running the stock pulley and pump but my sc came with a snow meth kit I'll install over time. How's your boost pursuit?
