    My subwoofer and amp are nowhere near my spare tire! However, I don't trust the bottle jack that came with the truck so I'm always gonna call AAA if I'm not right around the corner from my house!

    There is no cell phone service where that happened to me and the closest payphone was probably 15 or 20 miles. Thankfully that happened on a warm day as it would have been absolutely brutal in the cold.

    Probably about 20 years ago, there is still no cell service down there today, cell coverage is sketchy around here.

    I have AT&T for about the last 15 years, back then I had T-Mobile but they kept cutting out towers from an already thin coverage area so I switched.

    And now my phone seems to be working!

    It has been occasionally giving a false “No SIM card” warning. It did this no less than ten times yesterday, including at least twice when I was at dinner with @El Duderino last night.

    Blake, the owner of D-Town Tech, told me this meant that the board (motherboard?) is failing, and that it would be more cost effective to buy a new phone. This is particularly aggravating because I just had Blake put a new battery in this phone!

    Also, as I found out last night, iTunes on my computer isn’t accepting my phone since I updated iTunes, even though my phone’s software is up to date.

    So yup...

    Time for a new phone AGAIN!

    By the way, I’ve never paid for a new phone in my life! My parents (typically my mom) just give me their old ones when they get new ones!

    I really wanted to convert my truck to 4-wheel disc, but my friend from Hong Kong (the Rolls-Royce expert) says that a Toyota engineered my truck that way for a reason and that it would be best not to mess with it.
