Anyone have these? My friend works at a tire place and he can get me 50% off a set, so I was wondering if anyone has these tires and what you think of them? I am gonna get 33's on a 17 inch rim.

Close comparison...I have the Dueler AT's right now, they came with the truck. Good handling in the beginning - on road and off, winter roads too. The biggest disappointment I have with them is tread life. For the first 20k they were perfect, looked like new. After 20k the tread seemed to disappear overnight, I'm currently sitting at around 24k and 25% to 30% tread left. Lost traction on a dry gravel road a couple of weeks ago, had to use 4x to finish making the 'climb', very embarrassing.

Oh wow. Yeah I don't know much about tread life with bridgestone, I was looking into some BFG's or nitto's. My friend works at firestone and he quoted me like $530 for a set.

AT's - D695 i believe...guess I can't really complain, they were brand new (less than 500 miles on them) when I bought the truck.

Do you rotate them? I have 40K on my Revo's and expect to double that easily.

edit - you answered the first part already, sorry.

rotated every 5k religiously. wear is even on all of the tires. just would have expected to get more than 24k from them.

    hmmm......

Back to your original question, I had a set on my '03. They wore well, a bit noisier than my Revo's, and EXCELLENT in mud. Balancing was not as good as the Revo's but not bad at all. I would buy them again if I needed them.

The 695s were never a very good tire but some have good luck with them
i seen people get about 30.000 to 40.000 miles out of them
    The A/T revo2 is a much better tire :D
