    Yeah, it's expensive out there.

I bought food/drink at Arrowhead for a regular season game, cost me near $20.

Tailgating and pre-gaming is how ya save your money before going in.

The story said Budweiser was sending him a bunch of beer plus other swag. The dude was stoked just to be part of the TD celebration.

I wouldn't be surprised by either of them getting it done. What did surprise me was Carrol not going for it on 4th down with only 3 minutes left. With the season in the balance 4 down territory is when you have the ball instead of Aaron.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
He seriously thought they would get the ball back.

Undefeated in their first 5 super bowls ith loss in most recent appearance. 16th NFC conference title game. Yes, they've sucked for awhile, but not forever, and not this year. Who knows how long this lasts but aside from Staley it's mostly a young group.

    Edit in bold with appologies.

If you punt at best you get the ball back in about the same place with less time. At worst you don't get it back at all. If you turn it over on downs and stop them you get it back pinned deep again with plenty of time or you lose because you can't get a stop. Either way, if you give up the ball and can't generate a stop you lose. At some point it becomes 4-down territory. If next time is 4-down territory then this one could be too. If you can't stop them you lose either way whether you punt or turn it over on downs. Keeping it gives you the possibility of not having to make a stop to get it back. You get 4 chances to make ten yards, I'd have bet on Wilson to get less than that instead using up the last one to punt. Not a sure thing by any means but it preserves an additional opportunity and still leaves the possibility of a stop to get the ball back with more than 2 minutes left. Punting squandered what turned out to be their last one. 20/20 hindsight is one thing but I was thinking this when they punted. You're betting on two future hall of famers and I for one would want to bet on my guy succeeding rather than bet on the other guy failing.

Oh, how could I forget! :anonymous:Csmacomber nailed it. Must be denial having blanked most of this century until recently. At least they went a sixth time which the wackers won't be doing. Even if they win it would be only their fourth appearance. Green bay held off a depleted and worn out Seattle team, that won't be happening next weekend.

Yeah right, Hawks got burned by shitty refereeing, again... Pete made the right choice and the Packers were gifted a first down that they didn't earn. Maybe the end result would have been the same, but we should have at least had an opportunity to stop them on fourth down. He bet on his defense and they did what they needed to do. I'm not going to dissect every play of the game, but there were a slough of poor calls that favored the Packers before that as well.

I hate both the whiners and the fudge packers but I hope you win this bet. At least it makes the nfc north look good.

If my team losses I wont WANT to post on this thread til after the Super Bowl.

If SF wins then you have to use their logo as your avatar until the last day of February.
If GB wins I'll use their logo.
