MESO Total Tail Light Kit

Activate your turn signals 10 seconds each side, if no hyper-flash, you're good. Reverse and turn is typically where you'll see it if it's gonna happen. If you don't parallel park, chances are you'll never see that scenario.

I had hyper-flash on the left side only, the load resistor fixed that.

Is it weird that I look at other Tacos to see if they have the MESO tail light kit too?

 

Nah, I do the same and I think I've only ever come across one other with the kit. (outside of designated meets and such)

 

I have yet to see one.

I’ve tried to see if people notice my S2 but I don’t think people notice

Same here, I have made an attempt to change lanes and be in front of another taco to “show off” but in reality I doubt they even noticed a difference. I think we have an abundance of old retired guys that drive a taco- you know the ones that drive 10mph below the speed limit and riding the fast lane

Still testing them on the wife’s runner. Since the T4R(at least the 5th gen) has amber top/reverse bottom it will likely be a double switch back(turn+reverse in both top and bottom. The middle red is still the running/brake light.

Thanks! Leave a turn signal on for a minute or 2 in every scenario you can think of. If it doesn’t hyperflash, you are good forever. Or until you change out another LED to something with different internal resistance.

People definitely notice how bright these things are. It’s especially useful in bad driving conditions ie. snow, when people need to pay attention more. The upgraded brightness and amber signals are awesome, but the safety upgrade you get from these are well worth the price.

For those that are on the fence, I wouldn’t think twice about purchasing these when they become available. Like many others have said, sign up for their email notification that way you won’t miss out!
