The ones I received today look the same as the ones you have pictured smileyguy. Only mine cost nearly 100cdn. Good luck.

Looking at the comparison with the OEM part number, it looks very similar. The price is about half the cost as well.

The US CAN exchange rate is terrible. You buy something add 30+% exchange plus 15% local tax. Then you add the US shipping and add 30+ %. Then FedEx wants 75 -100 CDN+ 15% local tax.

Doesn't Amazon have a Canadian site? I would not think they would charge an exchange/shipping? Well at least Amazon here does not charge shipping..

All depends on where it’s fulfilled. Amazon can’t just not pay duties/taxes because they’re Amazon.

Yes, this is common sense.. however as not much is really "made" in the US they could avoid it simply by getting it from the supplier directly and thus avoiding this.

I just did a quick test of this using the Ring Doorbell Pro, both sites offer free shipping to the respective countries with prime and both are the same price with with current rate of the respective country, actually it is cheaper to purchase it in Canada....

    Am I missing something?

Now if I purchased it from Canada and shipped it to the US.. even if that was available, I bet it would be much higher.

How much did it cost to ceramic coat your whole truck? I am planning to do this once my wheels come in.

Depends on the coating and detailer, the most expensive part is the labor to do the paint correction prior to coating, it will vary based on your detailer. The only company that sets prices for detailers to stick by is Ceramic Pro as they are heavily marketed, included on carfax and have a "warranty" but its filled with red tape. Search 34 coating test on youtube, a guy tests them over a 2 year period to see how well they hold up, only a handful like CP, Cquartz UK 3.0, Modesta, etc. did and it will all boil down to what the vehicle is exposed to and maintainence. No coating will truly last more than 3 years, most require a touch up / refresh and they will still develop minor imperfections. However they are unmatched in ease of washing / maintaining your vehicle and UV protection. They are not an invisible armor though it will still chip and still be suceptible to deep scratches. That being said I've had CP done on 3 of my trucks and did CQuartz myself on my brother's explorer last month to try my hand.

I had the dealer install my black overlays 3 year warranty when installed by them. The color looks even better on the Pro !!

I always wash my vehicles before trading them in. Maybe it doesn't matter, but I try to get the most I can.
Like the new Sport though. Enjoy!

Thanks! I've seen Ceramic Pro mostly being advertised in my area. My goal is for ease or washing and to have a higher tolerance to swirls and to keep the car looking new as much as possible.
