No underbody panel will prevent door dings. Maybe from a much lower sitting car but if you are parked beside another truck and they open their door it’s possible you can get another door ding.

Tallest lift that money can buy - and rock sliders.

Sliders can do some nasty damage to careless drivers, but only the front door. The rear door of an SUV are the absolute worst. Made worse with Lysol drinking kids of dirtbag parents. The curve or rear SUV doors around the rear fender wells make a nice sharp angle for dinging even the strongest metal.

Your best friend these days are a good PDR man. Those guys are magicians and can make the dents vanish as long as the paint is ok.

Running boards or sliders will eliminate most of them. Yes, trucks or odd shaped doors can still get you, but it takes care of most of them. Plus I find other truck drivers to be more considerate than car drivers.

Best option is to park far away. Careless people and kids conglomerate near the front.

Lift the suspension. Install 0 degree rock sliders.

No sliders will prevent 100% of door dings unless your lifted 6 inches and in todays world of minivans and SUVs your best bet is to just park far enough away (walking is healthy) or a space next to a curb/etc. where you can leave extra room next to the inconsiderate person parking next to you.

If a stock tacoma pulls up next to me and swings the door open, they will hit my sliders. I'm 99% sure. Let's try this out, where are you located?

Really? You got my point. I said trucks and SUVs, go park next to an Expedition XL or a Super Duty and try it out. The point is sliders will help for some vehicles but not all. JFC.

Not exactly true. I've got sliders and about a 1.5" lift. I find paint scuffs on my sliders once in a while. It makes me smile. Only 1 door ding so far and it's at the back of my bedside, very high up.

You knew what I meant they WILL NOT prevent ALL door dings, you cannot guarantee who parks next to you, car, SUV, minivan, etc. Saying they prevent door dings is misleading, they will prevent some not all. You choose to cherry pick my quote even shortening it. OP asked for advice on sliders to prevent door dings, its not a 100% guarantee he wont still get them. Period end of story.

Dude, you've got to quit leaving your cheerios in the bathroom. Someone is bound to piss in them.

what about FIX auto ? i have a local one here that claims they can do it in 10 minutes, i don't have a photo of the dent as it is dark out now but its about an inch or two long and i don't believe any paint damage or creasing

You are lifted plenty. Add 0 degree rock sliders. It will reduce the amount of door dings. It might not save you from a lifted F-250. Anything smaller than your truck is doomed though.

If you can find a company local to you, will save on shipping costs.

I went with Caliraised rock sliders. They have locations in southern California and Texas.

I would go with bolt-on rock sliders. That way they can be easily removed if needed.

I've used paintless dent removal on my 15, was less than a week old when someone dented it, worked like a charm.
