You can kind of see where the magnets are because my topper is dirty and the metallic particles in the dirt stick around the edges of them ever so slightly. Also you can see the 4 stitches in the middle that i ripped an re-sewed, but I think it's barely noticeable at all. @_just.kev

awesome!! Thanks guys, much appreciated. I’ll be doing this tomorrow.

Though I don’t have any issues with the flapping or anything of that sort as I’m driving.

Did you guys do it because of some sort of noise?

One time I was driving home from a trip and it was raining pretty good on the highway. Got home and there was a fine mist of water over everything near the tailgate. That back window area is in a weird vacuum and it sucked a little bit of water in. Not a huge deal but something I wanted to correct

I took a pic today. 2” wide Velcro and 1/2” wide magnet strip. I wasn’t paying close enough attention when I bought the magnet haha works great though

This rack is a myth. I tried to buy one multiple times and the guy would reply then ghost me. I even bought the tent for it... then couldn't acquire the rack..

Not making any excusing for anyone, and I have no horse in this race, but I think tacos are currently small fish for @Dissent86. I think the LC and Lexus GX series occupy a ton of his business. That and based off his Instagram he’s recently moved into a new, much bigger, facility. A move like that can slow down a smaller business tremendously.

I tried to get one back in fall 2017 when they first came out. The only people I ever saw get one were like 3 local ones.

That’s interesting considering you still can’t place an order on their website and all their threads here are dead. Not sure why you’d skip out on tw, especially with how many showed interest and lack of softopper racks

I remember reading that the 3rd gen Softopper fits a 2nd gen better than a 2nd gen Softopper actually does, but how I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone elaborate on that a bit?

If you actually ask ST they will tell you the tops are the same except for the rear window, so you should order for what truck you actually have.

There are people on this thread who don't believe that.

Me, I trust the guys who make the thing.
