Just learned that the Southwest eggrolls are being made tomorrow and she just needed the chicken grilled... :annoyed:

The wings were good though. I didn't do the baking powder as I thought I was chopping it all up but the single breast is enough for the recipe.

I feel like I was set up

Still ate good. It'll make a :poking:

I bought that same Blackstone at WallyWorld. Have you found a cover for it? Apparently it is deeper than regular Blackstones so some covers won't fit.

Does a Tail Gate Lock Count?
Haven't looked for a cover yet. I tossed a plastic drop cloth over it and it is under the patio cover for the coming rain. I am fairly cheap so spending $25 on a cover for a griddle I spent $124 on, well....... A $1.97 plastic drop cloth from Lowes fit it good enough for me.

I do really like the griddle. Heats fast and cooks nice. When I seasoned it, I actually took my grinder to it and took the factory seasoning/coating off. Started with bare metal and laid down several layers of Crisco as seasoning. So far, nothing sticks and it is really slick! Next accessory I will get is the Dome. I think Walmart carries them.

Post a pic of your griddling adventure!

I was at a local watering hole, (Pinthouse Pizza), a few weeks back, downing an Electric Jellyfish or two. Me being a loquacious mofo, I struck up a convo with the single gal sitting next to me, and the guy sitting on the other side of her. The conversation turned to smoking meat, and I brought up the topic of spatchcocking. After about 20 minutes of discussing the pros, (no cons), the gal stood up, took her to-go pizza, and said, "Well, I'm going to go, all this talk of spatchcocking has gotten me worked up."!!! Never known for not ramping up, (or down), a conversation, I said, "Yeah, we can tell from your seat!"...

    Many guffaws were exchanged!
