my j shift cases are at the storage unit though.

 

I wish the official Toyota museum was still out here in socal...used to be about an hour west of me. They closed it down and moved it out to TX though a few years ago

 

The only part of the add that is on the truck is the little electronic control circuit that's in the cab and the part on the front diff. That's it

 

I still regret not buying one that last year. Wife and I talked about it but we just weren't in the right place to take on a new vehicle payment at the time.

Yeah I remember seeing something relating to the vacuum actuator that sits in the engine bay, near the ABS area?

 

I wouldn't mind a 6spd manual FJ Cruiser. But goddamn do they retain value...better than Tacomas even. They are crazy expensive used, almost the same price as when new with 70k miles on 'em. I don't like them that much lol.

 

Shouldn’t be that hard. Just tighten the straps so it rides higher. I can fit this transmission in the trunk of the Mercedes if I took the transfer case off. In fact someone came to pick up my A340E in a VW Golf.

 

That's the only thing that's an FJ. Anybody important knows the Cruisers line is referred to by series number...... Not 'FJ'... Damn kids

Yep it was in Torrance near the beach out here...I remember someone went and posted photos of a brand new (zero miles) 1st gen 4x4 they had on display

side mirrors - can't see crap out the tacoma now, side is all i use. I did hear about all the MULTIPLE blind spots in the FJ though...

right? I am definitely kicking myself for NOT buying one. I still look now and then and just chuckle at their asking prices.

 

If my Tacos good wasn't frozen right now I'd take a pic. It's just a couple solenoids and a vacuum can.
