Anybody done the 2011-2017 frame recall and what did they do?

I just picked up my 2016 from having it done and it looks like they just slapped some sort of whitish goup on it. Anyone have any feedback?

I didn’t see anything come up when I put my vin in a Toyota site.

 

I wonder how CRC would adhere to a frame that's been fluid filmed? I assume they have to "prep" the frame but what does that entail?

Neither, it feels wet a little on the wet side.

 

They are supposed to do an inspection, if it passes they take apart a few front end pieces, use as special frame washer to get all dirt and grease out of the boxed sections of the frame. Then they use a special heated forced air dryer for 8 hours to get the frame bone dry. After which they coat the interior parts of the frame with a heavy wool wax product.

 

They had it one day so I know they couldn’t have done all of that...

 

I wonder about my bolt on sliders?

 

It’s hard to tell from the pictures. Do you think they did a good job? Also is that white goop all up inside the front boxed sections as well?
