All of the titles that I've gotten have basically been by accident. Wayfarer, Dredgen, Cursebreaker, etc... I'm one season away from getting Unbroken.

Only took me two seasons to finally knock out the last Pinnacle Weapon from Crucible. I've been putting this one off and just working on it every once in a while when we get dropped into maps that have decent sniping lanes. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not one that is able to pull off amazing no scope snipes or very seldom close range snipes. I'm about 50/50 with my headshots in Crucible. I generally don't miss a body shot but having to follow it up with a Hand Cannon actually made this quest the longest out of all the Pinnacle Weapon quests for me. But I finally have all the Crucible Pinnacle weapons and the only Pinnacle I'm missing at the moment is the Exit Strategy out of Gambit. So... I suppose I'll finally get around to going for that (eventually).




I would recommend using Alone As A God out of the Leviathan Raid since it has an open scope that makes sniping so much easier for me and also Snapshot Sights which is almost a requirement for Crucible. If you have a good rolled Beloved out of the Menagerie I hear that is an epic Sniper to use also but I don't have one unfortunately. So this is the next best thing. Doesn't matter about the impact or range. Crucible is going to be a kill with a headshot no matter the map so it's almost like Alone As A God was created for Crucible since it has shit impact and range for PvE. And since it holds 6 in the chamber and special drops off of almost every Guardian you kill, it is much more forgiving and allows you to 2 tap if you miss the headshot and still have ammo left over.



You can pull it out of your collections if you have one since it is a static rolled weapon from year one. It's found here

It will be later this evening before I play. But I’m going to grind out a bunch of IB tonight. I’ve got a couple thousand coins saved up from last season but I’ll have to finish the bounties before I can turn them in unless I just want the guns. I’d like to get as many pieces of armor as possible with the best stat rolls.

 

Can’t remember if SBMM applies in IB or not? I don’t think it does? Even if it does this is the first one of the season so ELO should have reset.

I’ve already reset my Valor 3 times since the new season and maxed out Glory at 5500. After getting the Revoker the other day, I’ve got every Pinnacle Weapon out of Crucible that they have ever offered. The Not Forgotten was a challenge just because of the caliber of players above 4000. But the Revoker took the longest just because of the shear amount of clean sniper kills involved.

 

Finished up IB for the new Armor. I'm just not a fan of having to complete a quest to as a requirement to turn in tokens (for armor) or bounties but whatever. Didn't take too long and I had a shit ton of tokens to turn in.

Got the full IB set though I'm not happy with it even though it all dropped at 962. It will work but I much prefer the Void armor stat roll as it gives me more options for how "I" play the game. Every piece of Armor dropped with Arc with the exception of the cloak. At least the stats were decent but not amazing. I'll end up running primary and special ammo finders on a couple pieces and a weapon targeting mod on one and unflinching on the other since I've turned into using a Sniper / Hand Cannon (with the occasional Scout Rifle / Sidearm thrown in) now that Sub Machine Guns are out of the meta. Turned in a bunch of tokens but gave up on getting Void rolled armor as it just doesn't seem to want to drop this season.

Got a God roll Wizened Rebuke with Moving Target and Swashbuckler. It will outshoot my Erentil and the charge time is only +5 longer than the Erentil so that is negligible.



And a God roll Gunnora's Axe with Auto Loading Holster and Opening Shot. The range is stupid on this but it's much like the Chaperone since it is a slug shotgun but doesn't take up an exotic slot. You just have to be precise with the shot. It's great for rounding a corner with it though because the range is stupid.



And was able to get my season pass up to 72 just with the Crucible / IB / Gunsmith bounties

 

About to cross the 400,000 kill threshold even though I was completely out of the game for over a year.

So the Devils Ruin quest is short but it requires you to find items scattered around Twilight Gap. Kind of like finding fallen ghosts in the world. Once you find them all you will be rewarded with the weapon. Stay and listen to the conversation once you have the weapon. It is pretty damn funny.

Here are 4 out of the 5 Nighfall scores that I had. I only got 4 screenshots as I was dropped in at the very last moment of one and got credit for finishing it. This was all with randoms. Sorry brother... you're just not going to beat me

5th run: I ran double snipers since I got the curated roll on the 4th run on The Long Goodbye Sniper. So dual snipers, The Revoker and The Long Goodbye and still managed to out score the other two.

New quest today but not sure what it leads up too? Some are speculating a sword. It requires you to go to an obelisk and look at the symbols on the obelisk. Start at the 2 o'clock position and that will be your starting sign. Go clockwise around and it will give you a pattern of 7 codes. Go into the sundial at Osiris and run the codes in the order that they showed up on the obelisk. If you do it correctly you will get new lore and you have completed that one. There are 19 that must be completed and then we'll see what happens after that. The obelisk symbols change each hour on the hour.

I've completed 11 so far.

Well... that is one thing you will want to get on quickly. And I mean focus all your attention there.

Then you have the Devils Ruin quest (which takes about 30 mins).

And now this new quest that has just come up and it gated for every hour on the hour for 19 hours. Not sure what drops at the end of it.

At the end of this month you will need 5000 Polarized Fractaline to donate for another part of a quest.

I'm good there.

 

Okay... so the end of the 19 hrs are up for the new quest. Finished the first part which requires you to go into the Sundial (not activity) where Osiris is standing and activate the portal. It will take you back into the Infinite Forest where you will have to go through seven portals that match the emblems on the Obelisks that came up every hour for 19 hrs. Obviously you have to do this 19 times and not screw it up. When you go through all seven portals you will get a triumph with some lore attached. Jump to the middle and it will take you back to the start point. Run up to the black pillar and reset the instance and run the next set of symbols. Repeat that 19 times lol.

After that? No one knows yet? But I imagine it will be some kind of math problem kind of like the Outbreak Prime quest in D1. I love that they put shit like this in the game out of the blue. So we'll see what the big brains on Reddit come up with.

While I'm waiting on the big brains to figure out the solution to the new exotic puzzle I decided that I would finish off the Exit Strategy quest. Didn't take long since I had most of it done anyway. Got it done then figured the last Pinnacle weapon that I didn't have was the Hush Bow so I went on and finished that. 12 hrs later... finally got it. Did I mention that I fucking hate Gambit???

But... It's done. I have every Pinnacle Weapon the game has to offer now. There isn't a Pinnacle that I don't have. The longest climb was getting The Not Forgotten by far followed closely by the Revoker Sniper Rifle. But getting all those bow kills in Gambit was a pain in the ass. But I figured I better get it done before the update tomorrow where they finally patch the Wish Ender Bow. So at least I was one shotting most everything.

So... now I have everything. There are no more Pinnacles to chase.
