I have the same issue with mine. I thought it was normal. Guess it's not!

I have the original 3d print QQND version. I think the issue is not the coin holder or bucket, but rather the minor differences in the truck console manufacture as well. Since Meso developed this based on his truck and tested it on a handful of others, there are very possibly small differences (millimeters or less) in both the console and coin holder/bucket which then can compound the issue of they happen to line up.

Mine was a similar fit, however I resolved it.
    What I did was ...
Gather the coins to fill it completely
With the coin holder empty and lid closed
    keep is "vertical"
line it up with the hole
    gently push it straight down
    apply steady pressure downward
    verify it is level/even/flush fit
Now, put all the coins in the holder and park your truck in the FL sun & heat with all windows closed.
After 1 or 2 days mine was perfect fitment.

I think it was resolved via the pressure and "gentle" heat. The ability to heat and hold the truck interior to 100-140ish temps for 4-12 hours is the key to soften and "form" the 2 parts together.

    YMMV, good luck!!

At this point I don't think anyone cares about a price increase since the current model isn't currently available..

alright alright, I hear you M/T guys! I am going to open up ordering for them soon. The design has been done and proven, so it just takes a few clicks to start them 3d printing. They will however be a little more expensive(just because of the 3d print process) but the quality is almost as good as the injection molded.
I won't have the OG lid availablel but the TRD, TACOMA, and PRO will be. Stay tuned!

Coin buckets OOS.. It’s been the most popular so I’m thinking of streamlining it and doing 1 model(bucket) and an optional coin INSERT so people could choose between...

I’ll do it, I promise. Waiting on more emblems for the top.
