My 5k oil is coming up so Ill be going to the dealer soon anyway, but perhaps someone else had this issues or may know whats causing it?

After accelerating to at least 8mph then letting off the gas there is a chirping/crickets sound coming from my wheels. Its sounds the same rolling at 8mph and 65mph and I don't need to be on the gas while its happening. It also doesnt happen when Im not moving.

Are you talking about rolling over wet tar snakes and your tires are slipping on them making noise? I had that with the stock Toyos in warm temps. Those tires were a big let down in the wet.

The new Wildpeaks have only done it once in near freezing temps but have a lot more traction in all conditions.

No slippage. This doesn't sound like a tire issue. More like something in the axels/drivetrain? I noticed this morning it doesn't happen on a cold start but after driving for about 40 minutes and it's warm.

Ah! Sorry, but that was the best that I got other than checking the fluid levels and CV boots.

One thing on my noise, it rarely set off the TRAC / ABS light.

Chirp from a wheel is usually a wheel bearing.

Chirping/scraping sound sometimes comes when/if the brake pads are worn out and the metal lip touches the brake rotors.

Check and clean your break pads. Could be wheel bearing. Also, I heard my serpentine belt squeaking one day my window was down and it sounded like it was coming from my tires while driving. The belt can get dry and make noise. Good luck!

Doesn't happen when braking though. Just idle rolling.

    Most likely a Wheel Bearing!

My best guess personally as well. Definitely going to bring it up during my next service.

If the tires/wheels are rolling and you hear " chirp, chirp, chirp ", most likely the wheel bearing.

If it's more scraping, maybe check the brake caliper retaining clip

Definitely chirping. It's a fast intermittent pace and sounds like loud crickets.
