    Yes that's a down grade. I have had nine cruisers and built 27 of them the one fuck up I've seen with people is pickup axles.

    Buuuut those ugly turn signals. That should have had the round metal ones if early 68 (my personal favorite) or the small rectangular onesie a late 68. Then 79-82 signals are yucky!

    I sold my mint '86 Toyota pickup 4x4 (loaded with all the options and only 1-owner before me) back around 2015 for close to $5k..... wish I had kept it and tried to sell it today. Unbelievable how much the value on those Toyotas continues to rise.

    Yeah, clean, unmolested 4runners are super hard to come by. Being over 30 years old and advertised to take off road and beat up really made these mint ones rare. I'm still on the look out for a cheaper one to fix up, just never pop up at the right time.

    Supply and demand. Although some people see toyota and that they are a coveted model and ask top dollar for complete crap. Always baffles me seeing a rust infested truck/4runner and still asking 4k plus.
