    What is the range of motion on that pivot arm (sorry if wrong terminology)? From the pics it looks like it is almost parallel to the ground. Could it go lower, so the phone or device attached to it is also lower? Thinking of getting the DSM, and I would like the phone to be lower than in the pics. I do not care if I block the vent, don't use AC anyways.

    Best I can tell you could use a 25mm ball to 17mm ball mount with the arm. IF and I say if the the ball on the wireless mount is also a 17mm. I ordered my adapter from Taco Garage for the mount along with the arm. I'm hoping to adapt the Wizgear magnetic mount with a ball to the Arkon 25mm to 17mm adapter. Fingers crossed.

    Just got mine today and installed it. I have to say I was a little sceptical about the phone mount but after installing it I really like it. Well worth it to have a good sturdy place to mount your stuff.

    Best way to get it to go lower is an extra arm and a double ball joint like someone here pointed out... I also hve these flex mounts that I will be making available soon, they are basically a long flex tube with a ball on each end.

    Try this adapter... most of the time those holders use the 17mm balls

    you didn't there's still time

    We have been slammed with work lately but its about a 3 day delay between order and shipping right now.
