Used to snow wheel every year. Would drive across the lakes busting drifts. Good times

Not enough snow to be fun. And snow wheeling consists of no big hill climbs. Its just playing in the deep stuff and small climbs. Also CYCLONES love those

Honestly the price for the gains you get is pretty cheap compared to other platforms in the automotive world. Alot of companys only give 60 extra wheel horse for like 6k. Look at the 2nd gen taco superchargers.

Aw man, that sucks they're buying you out! What are your plans now? Hopefully the severance is big enough to keep you afloat until you find something new!

No idea they literally rolled up at 12:30 and were done talking to the 3 of us as a group and individual with hr before 1. The company that i work for now is joint ventures with agri afc and they are just rolling all responsibilities for alabama and georgia LOL locations to agri afc. there is 1 position that will be a for sure opening at the afc warehouse and there are two of us here that are still in the "i need a job" stage of life and if they think they can combine our 2 positions into 1 and pay about the same, they can have it and ill be on my marry way

we are budgeted for a manager (who also floated to atmore al and sylvester ga) a senior warhouse operator (me) a customer service rep (the other job guy) a full time driver, a seasonal driver, and a seasonal warehouse worker... we do ~24 million dollars a year. Agri afc is taking responsibility for deliveries and our manager accepted a position to do routing/route forcasting. and so they are expecting 1 position to cover what i do, plus the seasonal warehouse guy, plus the csr and i assume they expect somehow to preform comparable to 24 million annually...

Dang dude. I'm sorry to hear this E.J. That being said, I truly believe when one door closes another is opened and that there is a plan.

If it helps, I was laid off at a job in New Orleans, right after I'd signed a new lease on a place, bought a 2001 Tacoma etc. etc. So I moved back home with my tail between my legs. Then 6 months later Katrina happened. God lookin' out is what that was.

Ye I'm not too worried. My wife started a job in October so there will be some money coming it and I'm still pretty young and so my body is still at a near premium if times get too hard
