So there is a gym on the first floor, but im not sure if I have to pay to use it or not. My badge didn’t get me access to it. Lunch workouts would have been nice.

So far I’ve done nothing but sit all day and do literally nothing. Been trying to get something to do but they just don’t give me anything. I’m just gonna start walking up and down the stairs because at least then I’m getting some cardio in and not just wasting away....

Last novice comp here had middleweight at 176-231. Novice class was 200lb per hand farmers and 500lb yoke. So really you aren't far off of that. You could probably be pretty competitive in a novice middleweight class.

My last job had a gym on campus. You had to opt in but it was like $3/pay check and it came out just like any other benefit payroll deduction. I HATED my job but I really miss being able to cut out from my desk from like 11-1 for a workout...then again, maybe there’s a correlation to why they “laid me off” o_O

Talked to the wife. she’s okay with me getting a coach and dipping my feet in the strongman stuff. I’m gonna keep practicing on my own and not get a ego and then get a coach after everything feels kinda “natural”

I know it’ll take time and all that but I’m excited to find something I like that also is a workout

I'm working with Kalle Beck from there right now for comp specific work and it's been awesome.

Martins got way too busy with training for the Arnold so I decided to move on and I'm glad I did. Kalle is a lot more personable and much cheaper lol

It looks like it’s free. You just have to do like a “physical evaluation” to use it lol. We shall see. Lunch time workouts would be great

    What a miserable run.

I discovered I can no longer eat yogurt. Hell of a time to figure it out. Stomach started cramping by mile 5...
I endured 9 more miles before I decided to skip the last loop and shuffle home. They say you aren’t really an ultra runner until you’ve shit yourself and I really didn’t want today to be that special day.

Trying to figure out what dinner is going to be because eating is not really appealing right now.

I did find my first black toe nail in 5 years while in the shower. So I have that goin for me.

Kinda the same thing happened to me. I switched from chicken to 80/20 beef this week and that was a bad choice.... Felt sick and slow all day today. I think the extra grease slowed me down but my workout sucked.

Looks like I'm going back to chicken.

I got some 80/20 beef to mix with my venison for my chili. When making a batch of it this week I noticed that hamburger is pretty fucking fatty.
I mean I like a nice marbled ribeye but this stuff was almost gross. I can see how that change up can throw your digestive system through a loop.

Dinner was 8 scrambled eggs dry and 4TBSP of peanut butter.

Gotta do what you gotta do to hit that calorie goal.

Strongman brings out a lot of soreness in muscles you didn't know about.

Like I said, be prepared to hurt :p

Rest day today, my legs were sore after changing up my cycling routine last night. Intake wasn't terrible, I decided not to fast tonight but I have started typically eating one meal/day on Fridays and Saturdays, since I don't work those days I usually sleep in at least an hour later and just don't eat breakfast and then eat "lunch" around 12:00 or 13:00.
Yesterday was supposed to be my rest day but I put it off for a day because my sister wanted to workout and I have to be there as she uses my "guest" spot.

I love the pain so let’s do this  looks like I got a good bit of weight to gain if I pursue that weight class as well

    I haven’t got on a scale but I’d guess 190ish.
