    Just a few LEDs...
    252w / 12v = 21amps

Say bye bye to your wiring harness if those specs are accurate.

yes u can use them. People will complain about them in stock housing so be sure they aren't angled too high. It is plug and play, no new harness needed

Sure, you can use them - just make sure you never turn them on. :annoyed: At least at night. If you aim them that low so they are not blinding anyone, make sure you keep a flashlight on hand, so you can see where you are going.

If you search TW you will find why you should never use LED "bulbs" in reflector housing. regardless what ebay, Amazon or banggood writes.

I run my led fog lights at night so i'm even worse. Still have halogens in my housing so I get to chose when to be "that guy". (Usually only use on the freeway/interstates) Have had countless people almost merge into me/almost hit me prior to using the fog lights even with my glass pack exhaust which is obnoxious as shit. I'm not gonna lose another truck to idiots so id rather be seen and noticed; if it's too bright sorry.

There is no cure or protection from idiots on the road. Day or night, does not matter. Even commercial truck drivers now now driving with heads down into smartphones. You may as well install police lights - probably will be more efficient and illegal same way.

I'm glad we don't have that problem in Poland - anyone with blinding lights gets pulled over very fast and their registration revoked (and if lights are not fixed on the spot, the car is towed to impound as a not road worthy) - getting it back (after lights are fixed) is not difficult but expensive and real pain in the rear end. But when I was in California I was actually thinking of installing polished stainless steel tailgate that would act like a mirror so the guy with LED headlights behind me understands what he is doing to other drivers.

There's no cure you are right, but this helps with prevention. I've had the truck for over a year now. Since 6 months ago with installing the fogs myself and using during morning and night time; the amount of people nearly sideswiping me/idiots cutting me off nearly taking my front bumper off have dwindled.

I'm fine if people get mad and wanna do dumb shit bc they have no grasp on their own emotions. I've sat in front of people with leds in halogens, but never have gone after them to flash them or been a jackass. If ur that mad about something so simple/mundane then u shouldn't be on the road in the first place. I'm not chasing anyone down or trying to start road rage bc something is "too bright" for me. I simply move a lane over, or wait for them to turn and go on with my drive. Priorities.

Oh and I have no window tint either. So if people have bright lights behind me, they are BRIGHT.

You are missing the point. Driving with blinding low beams is not only illegal, but dangerous: on narrow county roads at night if the "cool LED guy" id driving head on, you have no clue where you are going. You may hit a pothole or something on the road and send you flying. Same with the guy behind - you want or not, that bright light will be inside your cab, and reflecting by mirrors even windshield. It is not only irritating but very distracting - not good for safety.

By the way I only flash the guy if I am 100% sure, he is driving on high beams and forgot to switch to low when coming at me. For guys with bad aimed low beams or LED "bulbs" flashing is pointless - it causes more distraction to him and by blinding him with my flash he can go off road.

They invented the low beams for a reason, otherwise everybody would be driving on high beams regardless LED, HID or Edison.

    I got these on Amazon

AUXITO H4 9003 LED Headlight Bulbs 12,000LM Per Set 6500K Xenon White for High and Low Beam Hi/Lo Plug and Play, Pack of 2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TQLK6SH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_e0giEbAY4VR51

first time I bought the beamtech ones but the factory rubber boot wouldn’t fit over them and I had to send em back.

They are nice and bright and I don’t get flashed.

My only complaint is that you need to wire in a resistor to the passenger side so that the high beam indicator works. Currently my highs and lows work but there’s no indicator.... and sometimes I forget my highs are on.

Why is everyone's blinding LED headlight excuse "well I haven't been flashed yet" as if when they do get flashed they are going to immediately swap them out.

I used to wheel with a guy in a 4Runner club that installed some, shall we say... "backup lights" wired to a stand alone switch. He mostly used them for tailgaters. Saw it in action once on the highway. Yikes.

The problem is that you really can't "teach" those kinds of people anything. They learned from an early age that no one but themselves matter, so you flash someone and the only thought that passes through their monkey brain is "aww man wheat the hell, those are bright".

Most people don't flash you because it's actually more dangerous.

Not not being flashed is just a sign that other people care about other people's safety, unlike the person with the Bro lights.
