hey jesse, sorry about that. i'm still going friday evening, camping that night and wheeling/exploring saturday. unfortunately, i think the seat or two that doesn't have a person in it is going to have gear piled on it. a friend of mine who was gonna come with his f-150 had to bail out last minute, so things had to get shuffled around. i have to bring a lot more recovery gear, spare parts and tools than normal since i'll be flying solo (vehicle wise). don't want to be stuck in the middle of ocala, 2.5 hours away from home. having you and evan would be great. what kind of vehicle does he drive?

haha, there ya go....he should deffinately come. ocala sounds like a good place to get used to a new truck. from what i've seen, you can keep it pretty mild if you want. for that matter, i know you don't want to wheel your truck, but you could always drive along, and if we get to something you're uncomfortable with, park your truck and ride with him for the section, then got back and get your truck.
i take it he's not a member on here?

i'll be heading to ocala friday afternoon with a couple friends riding along. we can't leave till about 5 (2.5 hour drive there) since we have to finish up with classes, so once we get there, we're pretty much just gonna set up camp at the first place that looks nice and hang there all night. then satureday we're gonna go out on the trails. i've never been to ocala, so i don't really have a way to tell you where we're gonna be. if you wanted to meet up saturday morning, we could meet at one of the intersections of the roads in the forest itsself

edit: i'd say you're welcome to camp with us, but i have a feeling that it'll be nearly impossible to find where we are once it's dark...especially since neither of us have been before.

Sounds like a plan. Are you going to a camp ground or anything specific I should gps? I'm coming down from south of Jacksonville.

acording to the website, for free, you can camp anywhere you want. so we're just going to find a decent clearingto set up in when wer get there. we're coming from Melbourne, so we'll more than likely be somewhere on the south or east side of the forest. i'll try to get a better idea tomorrow and let you know

Ok. I'll PM you when I get head out your way Sat. Hopefully, nothing pops up and prevents me from going. That's what happened at the All Fl meet and I'm still butt hurt about it. :-(

Just FYI, cell service blows out in ocala so don't plan on calling eachother when you get there or something because most likely it won't work.

I got your PM and no I don't have a CB, but I need to get one. Haha. This might be a stupid question, but any chance a handheld motorola could pick you up once I get in the area?
