Most beadlocks aren't DOT approved but that doesn't stop people from running them :luvya:

    Hey, worth a shot...

I almost had an 05 avalon with 12k on the odo for 4500 today...

But my writer got it first. Things leaking oil from the headgaskets and cam towers because it sits so much... was going to pull the motor and reseal it and use it as my new daily. Damn engine looks like a new cars engine still

It's less Tacoma and more mod
That's just because you made em at home and wheels have to be verified by DOT. Most companies don't wanna pay that for something you put on a trailered rig anyway.

Why you need butt plugs and why you gotta patch em?

Yeah but pull a part would give us more, and pick it up for free. Trans shop called today. 100% sure trans needs replaced, 90% sure the ECU is bad too. $3-4k estimate. If he thinks he can do it for absolutely no more than $4k, were gonna get it fixed. Those cars sell for around $5-6k so we could see a small profit. But if theres any second guessing that it would be more than that, the junkyard that offers the most gets it. Minus the new tires and the wheels though. Too much of a gamble to get it fixed and break even or only make $500 on selling it, especially since thats about how much a junkyard would pay.

Neither are the countless LEDs or many other mods so many use.

The plug kit I shared was what I carry just in case the spare crapped out and had a flat or whatever. Would I leave it as a permanent solution, probably not. I originally was just saying 'plug em' yourself'. Anyway, whatever - everyone has their own way of doing things. By the way, Safety Seal the only one I'd use. 50+ years in the business.

@Empty_Lord I know you don't see anything pre 2014 much cause it has all returned to the earth. But think back a few decades and let me know who supplied the press cup for the taco wheel bearings. Need something the right size and don't really want to spin my own up on the lathe
