Ivan may be a Baja winning racer, but if we're to believe he picked this wheel then he has the same taste as an early 2000s cholo

Seriously. Most of the posts from @GQ7227 are unreadable jibberish and usually very reactive. OMG THIS IS THE BEST SH**. (10 minutes later) OMG THIS SH** F'D UP MY LIFE!

Pretty sure everyone who told you to use that stuff told you not to wash your frame until spring. Of course it comes off if you crawl under every day with a garden hose, as will anything else you spray under there.

i can't leave this huge amount of road slop just sitting on there!

i was hosing out the wheel wells and it must have hosed down the leaf spring mounts too, the rest of the frame that i sprayed FF looks ok, but i need to closer inspect it with a halogen light or something

Think of your frame like a PB&J sandwich, minus the top piece of bread.

The bread is the frame. The Peanut butter is the fluid film, the jelly is the road salts.

The jelly will not come in contact with the bread unless you remove the peanut butter (which you are doing). As long as there is a layer of fluid film, the salt will not contact your frame and start corroding it. This is why those who use this product do not wash it off and allow the salts to collect on top of it. When spring comes, they wash the frame, all the salts and the FF come off, leaving a clean frame underneath.

That must have been one of his late trucks. The one with the thousand horsepower 3vze is one of my favorites. Kind of neat to see Toyota's worst engine making such an amazing horsepower

I'm curious, before TacomaWorld - before you used FF - what did you use? What were you doing 3 or 4 years ago to preserve your truck during the winter? You've owned it for quite a long time. Must have been doing something that worked without all the frustration...

Sucks to see him torture himself but til he decides to deal with that issue there's nothing any of us could do to help with the truck

I have a matchbox version of that one laying around somewhere. Always loved it, even made one of my Pinewood derby cars to sorta look like it.

Funny that MCI was one of the main sponsors, most people dont even know what that is anymore.
