So after I got a new desk today, I caved and bought a microwave.

 

And I brought my wireless router to use as an access point since my wireless modem is in the living and sure enough....I forgot my fucking ethernet cable.

I've got a lot at the house, including being able to terminate my own, and I left it all at the house

 

Has anyone thought of making a flat bottom panel for aero Dynamics?

 

Unless you invested in sculpting a new body for your truck and ran that shit through a wind tunnel, a flat bottom panel would be pointless.

Our skids are pretty "smooth" though so I guess we already got one.

 

Would a skid plate fit into the base model

I mean...is it really worth the trouble? The rest of the truck has the aerodynamics of a brick, a smooth bottom would be a lot of work for likely very little gain unless you do all of your driving on the highway at highway speeds.

 

The biggest drop in gas mileage most owners will likely see is going from the stock OEM bumper with lower plastic fairing and OEM gravel guard, which most people mistakenly call a skid plate.

Case in point - look at any new truck and their giant air dam that goes as close to the ground as it can up front and the "off-road" models having more clearance up there (and lower gas mileage).
